Salary: Grade 5 £26,425 - £28,288 per annum pro rota. Approximately £18,315 - £19,606 per annum (0.69309 FTE)

About us and the role:
As a Science Technician at Avanti Fields School, you will support the delivery of high-quality science education by preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment and materials for experiments and demonstrations.
You will collaborate closely with teachers to ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that students have a, hands-on learning experience. Your responsibilities include resolving technical issues, overseeing inventory management, and creating an engaging atmosphere that promotes curiosity and exploration in the sciences.

Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith-designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September 2022. What will you do?
- The preparation of materials and equipment for science lessons.
- Maintaining science laboratories and preparation rooms and ensuring their equipment/ services are in good order.
- General duties in support of the teachers in the Science Department.
